Mobile phone companies will generally offer a mobile phone deal for every budget, but do you have a realistic notion of what your budget for mobile phones is? When changing plans, it can be easy to overestimate or underestimate your actual usage, leading to a mobile phone deal that costs far more than it should.
If you are considering a mobile phone deal that works on capped usage, be especially careful to select the right value for your needs. Spending too little to begin with can lead to spending more due to overuse charges. Spending too much is obviously bad as well, as you could be putting your money elsewhere. In terms of which side to err on, though, a mobile phone deal that costs slightly too much and comes with a lot more included credit will likely be better value than a mobile phone deal that is cheaper in terms of minimum spending but which is likely to cost much more in excess usage charges every month.
