Deciding on the right mobile phone deal
Thursday June 12, 2008
Not everyone will benefit from the same mobile phone deal, as not everyone has the same needs in mobiles. It helps to ask yourself a few questions before deciding to accept a mobile phone deal.
Does it have all the features you want?
Just because a mobile phone is cheap doesn't mean it's the right mobile phone deal for you. Buying a phone that doesn't have all the features you want will usually end with you buying a new mobile phone in a much shorter time than usual. Perhaps you think you can do without the features, but going without is not the essence of an excellent mobile phone deal.
Are there strings attached?
If the only way you can afford the mobile phone you want is to sign up on a contract, then you will need to consider whether this mobile phone deal is worth the commitment. A two year contract is not very long, but if you have to choose a contract that is much more expensive than you would normally use, you may find you are unable to afford it in the long run. Don't enter into a long term bad mobile phone deal just because you are blinded by how cheap the mobile phone you want can be.
